Download Integrated Treatment Technology of Rural Domestic Sewage

This open access publication presents a comprehensive treatment method for rural domestic sewage, and emphasizes ten representative cases in China.   The integrated sewage treatment system (ISTE) integrates sewage pretreatment, biological treatment, sedimentation, and disinfection. It is especially useful for decentralized domestic wastewater treatment in rural locations without pipe networks.   ISTE has several key benefits, including its streamlined design, minimal space requirements, quick installation timeline, effective treatment capabilities, and cost-effectiveness.   Initially implemented in Japan, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) has experienced significant and swift expansion in China during the past ten years.   The Chinese firms' cumulative experience in important technology research and development, practice, and promotion can provide valuable guidance to other emerging countries and regions.

    The book comprises five chapters.   The initial chapter provides an introduction to the attributes, environmental hazards, and managerial approaches pertaining to rural home sewage.   The second chapter demonstrates the methods used to gather and process rural household wastewater. In the third chapter, a comprehensive and highly efficient sewage treatment procedure is shown.   The fourth chapter encompasses the design idea, production requirements, automatic control, and the cloud administration system for ISTE.   Chapter five explores ten common application scenarios of ISTE across various locations in China.   This book is appropriate for graduate students, engineers, university professors, and government officials involved in decentralized sewage treatment.
