Pendahuluan


Publikasi ilmiah adalah kewajiban bagi mahasiswa, dosen, dan peneliti di Indonesia. Sejak diberlakukannya aturan akreditasi nasional melalui Science and Technology Index (Sinta) oleh Kemdikbudristek, jurnal dibagi dalam enam peringkat: Sinta 1 (paling tinggi) hingga Sinta 6 (paling rendah).


Jurnal Sinta 5 menempati posisi menengah-bawah dalam sistem akreditasi, namun tetap terindeks resmi dan diakui untuk keperluan akademik. Publikasi di jurnal Sinta 5 sering menjadi pilihan mahasiswa S1, S2, atau peneliti pemula yang baru memulai karier akademik.


Salah satu keuntungan adalah adanya banyak jurnal Sinta 5 gratis yang tidak membebankan biaya publikasi atau article processing charge (APC). Dengan demikian, peneliti bisa menulis, mengirim, dan menerbitkan artikel ilmiah tanpa khawatir soal biaya.


Pengertian Jurnal Sinta 5 Gratis


Jurnal Sinta 5: Jurnal nasional terakreditasi pada level menengah-bawah yang menunjukkan standar mutu cukup baik, konsistensi terbit, serta sistem editorial formal.


Gratis: Tidak ada biaya untuk penulis sejak pengiriman naskah, proses review, editing, hingga artikel resmi diterbitkan.

4. Cek status akreditasi di portal Sinta.
